Meeting with graduates of the Faculty of Economics

On May 12, 2017, the meeting of graduates of all specialties of the bachelor's degree in economics with the acting head of the postgraduate education department, Imasheva A.Sh., the dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ismailova AS and the head of the departments was held. Graduates of the bachelor's degree in economics are currently completing their thesis, that is, they are at the final stage of their studies and are seriously thinking about the prospects for further education in Master courses. In this regard, they were provided with detailed information on the general rules for admission to the Master courses; Preparatory courses for learning English, which are organized at an affordable fee, in order to improve the results of the centralized entrance examination.

The heads of the departments of the economic faculty told about specific features and requirements for those entering their specialties. Head of the Department of Economics Meleshenko N.N Once again provided full information about the advantages of the scientific and pedagogical master's program "Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development", in specilaty M050600-Economics, which was developed jointly with partner universities in the framework of the international project SARUD ERASMUS +.

The program "Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development" is based on the concept of sustainability, which involves a combination of economics, ecology and sociology. The technological disciplines will also be taught to potential students in the above degree, as according to the results of the situational analysis it became clear to what extent the rural akimats, disctrict and regional agricultural departments, the Ministry of Agriculture of the RK, experts with knowledge in these professional spheres, that is, with the basic Education are essential.

The SARUD Master's Program "Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development" staring 2017 will be implemented by Kazakhstan partner universities (KATU named after S. Seifullin, A. Baitursynov KSU, KSU named after Sh. Ualikhanov), and Russian partner universities (Omsk SAU, Michurinsky SAU, Buryat State Agricultural Academy, Novosibirsk SAU). The project is coordinated by the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart, Germany). The content of the Curriculum was assessed by the foreign participants of the project: the Czech University of Natural Sciences (Prague), the Warsaw University of Natural Sciences (Poland), the Timiryazev Academy (Moscow, Russia). Academic mobility of students is planned, including in the partner universities of the SARUD project.
