Monitoring of Erasmus+ projects

On the 1st -2nd of March, 2016 at Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University (KATU) it was held monitoring of the EU projects of  Erasmus +  program in enhancing the capacity and credit mobility by which the University is the participant.

 The project "Sustainable agriculture and rural development" is implemented at the Economy Faculty. The project involves 11 HEIs from Kazakhstan, Germany, Russia, the Czech Republic and Poland and it is coordinated by Hohenheim University (Germany, Stuttgart), one of the leading research agrarian universities in Europe.

Project monitoring was conducted  by Tasbulatova Sh. U., the National coordinator of Erasmus + program in Kazakhstan on behalf of the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA) of the European Commission in the framework of the standard monitoring procedures for all capacity building projects in the higher education of Erasmus + program (CBHE).

This event is held in accordance with the draft monitoring plan for CBHE in 2016.  The purpose of project monitoring 561969-EPP-1-2015-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP «Sustainable agriculture and rural development" (coordinator from KATU Meleshenko N.N.) is the evaluation process of the project at the moment, and getting information on the results and the achievement of its objectives, to familiarize with the real situation in which the project is carried out, as well as an understanding of the broader context. During the meeting with participants of the project, Shaizada Umurzakovna evaluated projects by five criteria: relevance and quality of the design of the project application, the efficiency of project implementation, effectiveness, potential impact and the potential for sustainable development. 

Monitoring of the project by the international credit mobility (MKM) was carried out according to the following criteria: availability of documents required for the signing of the host and sending university, the transparency and openness of the selection procedure for mobility, appropriate support participants before the mobility and recognition of study period in the host institution. In the work of monitoring this project, Meiramova S.A., Director of the Center of International Cooperation and Multilingual Education,  Zhagalbayev B.T., a specialist of master's programs and doctoral studies of the Department of postgraduate education, Baitelenova A.A., Deputy Dean of Agronomy Faculty and Kitaibekova S.O., Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator of KATU have participated.  

According to the project on the basis of competitive selection two first-year Master students of Agronomy Faculty Sagatbek Sumbile and Auteleeva Rysgul will start a year-long mobility from the 1st of April, 2016 as well as Leader L.A., an Associate Professor of "Veterinary Medicine" Department will deliver lectures and improve skills during two weeks at Hohenheim University.
