The third joint regional coordination meeting

From 2 to 5 May 2017, at the Michurinsk State Agrarian University was held the 3 rd joint regional coordination meeting within the framework  of the EU ERASMUS+ project entitled “ Sustainable agriculture and rural area development” (SARUD)

The coordination meeting was devoted to review of activities and results of the project.

The presentation on the structure and mechanisms of the project, channels of communication between all participants,  management plan quality of the project and dissemination strategy of results was made by the the University of Hohenheim coordinators.

The latter is extremely important as the first class of master’s degree candidates for the "Sustainable agriculture and development of rural areas" programin the specialty «6M050600  Economics» will be implanted in 2017 as part of the implementation of the SARUD project.

Graduates of this program can work in public service, in the departments of agriculture of different levels,in  research institutes,in  higher and secondary schools.

The rector of the  Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education “Michurinsk State Agrarian University”, Babushkin V. A., delivered welcoming remarks on the first day of the meeting, who expressed its support for the draft and responded positively on the results of the cooperation with Kazkhstan partner high schools.

Besides the presentation of subtotals of the draft, the further action on realization to implement the programme at the universities of Kazakhstan (KATU named after S. Seifullin, KSU named after A. Baitursynov,  KSU named after Sh. Walikhanov), and in higher educational establishments of Russian Federation (Omsk state agrarian university, Michurinsk state agrarian university, Buryatstate Academy of Agriculture, Novosibirsk state agriculture university) in a careful and constructive manner were discussed at the meeting.)

Much time was spent focusing on the future meeting of the expanded partner high schools as a consortium of the SARUD project to be held in Astana from 3 to 5 July 2017.
