Ambassador of Turkey to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Ufuk Ekici visited S. Seifullin KATU
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Kazakhstan, Mr. Ufuk Ekici, paid a friendly visit to S. Seifullin KazATU. Chairman of the Board Kairat Aituganov met with the distinguished guest.
- Our university successfully cooperates with 8 universities, as well as a number of international organizations and research institutes of the Republic of Turkey in the field of science and education, - said K. Aituganov.
The Chairman of the Board of KATU expressed his gratitude to the Turkish side for the support of the university's scientific projects. In particular, in conjunction with the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination and the International Center for livestock Research and Training (Ankara, Lallahan), a modern installation for automatic milking of sheep will be introduced, with further processing of sheep milk into dairy products.
- I know firsthand what agriculture is, - secretly shared Mr. Ufuk Ekiсi. - My grandfather was a rural worker, and from childhood I saw what a difficult, but very productive work.
According to the Plenipotentiary Ambassador, in recent years, the number of universities in Turkey has increased, which prioritize the improvement of the qualifications of scientific workers.

- Aituganov noted that, along with education, science and production are the priority directions in KATU.
The Chairman of the Board spoke about the activities of the university, focusing on the current research projects and subsidiaries of the university.
The parties agreed that the Turkish Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Seifullin KATU may have many points of contact. Mr. Ufuk Ekiji expressed his readiness for further effective cooperation.
Vice-rector for science, innovation and international relations Ismail Tokbergenov, director of the Department of Science and Innovation Activity Vladimir Kiyan, director of the Center for Development of International Cooperation and Multilingual Education Saltanat Meiramova also took part in the meeting from the Kazakh side.
