Today, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University and the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT). The signing ceremony was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Israel Satybaldy Burshakov and Deputy Ambassador of Israel to Kazakhstan Galina Frenkel.

The memorandum was signed online by the Chairman of the Board of the S. Seifullin KATU Kairat Aituganov and the President of the Holon Technological University Eduard Yakubov.

Relations between Kazakhstan and Israel have been dynamically developing since 1992. KATU has a favorable experience of working with Israel, in particular, under the MASHAV program. Today we are signing a memorandum in the hope of starting cooperation in a practical way, - K. Aytuganov said in his welcoming speech.

Yakubov expressed his agreement from the position of Kazakh colleague.

 - We have many areas of common interest, and to build a bridge will not be difficult. Holon Institute was founded in 1969. We have about 5 thousand students. A distinctive feature of our university is that we do not just provide academic education, but we do it in cooperation with high-tech industrial enterprises. I am convinced that our cooperation will allow us to train specialists who can make their worthy contribution to the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For our part, we are ready to do everything to guarantee success, - E. Yakubov summarized.
