On September 29, 2025, the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University hosted the student competition "Artificial Intelligence: Path to the Future" as part of the "AI Week Artificial Intelligence" event. The event was organized in alignment with the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, dated September 8, 2025, titled "Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation," and in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the "Artificial Intelligence Week" series of events scheduled from September 29 to October 4, 2025.
The purpose of the "Artificial Intelligence: Path to the Future" competition was to introduce future professionals to the possibilities of artificial intelligence and to unlock the creative potential of students. Such events promote innovative ideas, strengthen positions in global technological competition, foster collaboration with IT companies, support startup development, contribute to economic digitization, and facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions.
During the week, engaging and significant topics were presented and discussed, including "Livio: Smart Livestock System," "Intelligent System for Recognizing Tourist Attractions Based on Artificial Intelligence," "Filtering Deepfakes and Fake Content Using Artificial Intelligence," "Parktrack: Urban Mobility of the Future," "Your Smart Guide," and others. Participants were awarded diplomas and letters of appreciation.

The event began with the ceremonial opening of the "AI Week Artificial Intelligence" under the leadership of Madina Yelemessovna Sabyrova, Acting Director of the Institute of Business and Digital Technologies. The event was attended by Zh.Zh. Ainakulov, Director of the Center for Technological Competencies in Agri-Industrial Complex Digitization, D.R. Yelubaev, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, A.S. Akanova and A.G. Shaushenova, heads of the "Computer Science" and "Information Systems" educational program groups, L.K. Tazhibay and A.A. Naizagarayeva, responsible for research work, as well as faculty members and students of these educational programs.
The organization of such competitions among students fosters the emergence of new ideas and startup projects, undoubtedly contributing to the economy, education system, and societal development.
