Today in the Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S.Seifullin the regular meeting of the Academic Council was held.
The meeting was held by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Tireuov Kanat Maratovich. In particular, a report was made on the current state of educational, research and educational work and prospects for their improvement at the Faculty of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment. The lecture was given by the dean of the faculty Sarsekova Dani Nurgisaevna.
The chairman of a specially created commission on this issue, Nukesheva Anar Zhaskairatovna, told about the existence of problems at the faculty and made suggestions based on ways to solve them.
In accordance with the recommendation report, the Chairman of the Board - Rector Tireuov Kanat Maratovich instructed to develop a special educational program with foreign advanced educational institutions and on the basis of a double-degree education project, in order to increase the level of education and scientific potential of the faculty.
Karlygash Amangeldievna Sarbasova, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs, made a report on the results of the work on practical training of students, who answered the questions of the Council members.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Academic Activities Abdirov Aitzhan Mukhamedzhanovich announced a proposal to award the rector's grant to eight student-athletes studying at our university, which was unanimously approved by the Counsil.
The proposal of the dean of the Agronomy Faculty Stybaev Gani Zhasymbekovich on approval of new educational programs 6B08106 - «Agrotechnology», 7M08111 - «Agrobiotechnology» has been approved.
Two of our scientists have won an award.
By the decision of the Committee of Forestry and Fauna of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan from December 14, 2022, the honor and badge «Honored Forester» for the achievements in the protection of forests, conservation and reproduction of biological diversity, Active cooperation in the field of forestry and introduction of developments into production were awarded following employees:
