The main topic of the Round Table was the revival of a good tradition – the organization of mechanized detachments, when students of the 3-4 courses of the technical faculty went to field harvesting in advanced farms as combine harvesters, assistant harvesters, thus receiving practical training to work in real farms, and farms, in turn, received good qualified assistance during hot cleaning works.

The main theme of the round table was the revival of a good tradition - the organization of mechanized detachments, when students of 3-4 years of technical faculty went to the field work in the advanced farms as combine operators, helpers combine operators, thus receiving practical training to work in the real farms, and farms, in turn, received good skilled help during the hot harvest work.

Therefore, the Chairman of the Board-Rector of KATU, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.M. Tireuov put forward an initiative to revive this remarkable tradition, by organizing a series of professional courses (Teacher-trainer) on a permanent basis to train teachers of technical faculty, who teach agricultural engineering disciplines. Besides, Tireuov K.M. justified this need by the fact that now the technical development of agricultural machinery is not standing still, the technique has become more productive, more complex, and requires a high technical and professional training of mechanics from teachers and graduates of technical faculty.

As a result of the meeting at the round table, an agreement was reached on training specialists from “CLAAS” to train teachers of technical faculty as instructors in operating “CLAAS” combine harvesters. The training will take place in three stages:
