IHEEP Project - Internationalization of Higher Education: Effective Partnership between Higher Education Institutions in Kazakhstan and the USA.

IHEEP sessions in 2022 will take place as mentor meetings every Thursday from April 21 to May 19. Experienced experts from Kazakhstani and US higher education institutions will share their experiences, answer your questions, and provide practical advice on key areas of internationalizationof a higher education institution.
The first mentoring session “Double Degree Programs: Plans and Reality” was held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, via the ZOOM platform. The first session was moderated by KATU’s Director of International Relations, Saltanat Meiramova, who also spoke on “How to set up a dual degree program with a partner in the US: Challenges and Benefits”.
Also, speaker in the first session was Professor Herman Rose, PhD, Head of International Programsat Washington State University (WSU, USA), Director of WSU Institute of International Business and Dean of Solbridge International School of Business in Korea (2015-2016).
The topic of the mentoring session: “International Student Recruitment “The New Way” was presented by speaker Andrea Peketto, Director of Docsity, Norway.
The first session will focus on the development and application of dual degree programs.

Topic: Academic mobility between Kazakhstan and the USA
5. Thursday, May 19, 2022, time 17:00 - 18:30 (Almaty time). Final session - individual/group consultations on the topics of sessions 1-4
