On October 1, in honor of the International Day of Older Persons, a festive event titled "My Precious Elders" was held at the S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University. The celebration took place in the auditorium of the Agronomy Faculty and gathered university veterans, faculty members, and students.
The event began with the traditional Kazakh dance “Әшекей” performed by the "Shattyk" dance ensemble. It was followed by a performance of Nurgyisa Tlendiyev’s composition “Әlqissa” by the student folk instruments ensemble "Shabyt." Throughout the program, students performed songs dedicated to the elderly, including “Asyl әzhe,” “Blue Eternity,” and “Perzent Paryzy.”
The hosts warmly spoke about the life path and achievements of the older generation, highlighting their significant contribution to the development of the country. The concert concluded with all participants singing “Öz Elim,” expressing respect and gratitude to the elders.
This event once again emphasized the importance of honoring and valuing the experience and wisdom of the senior generation. The university team intends to continue organizing such meaningful initiatives in the future.
