On February 28, 2025, the «Graduate-2025» Job Fair was held in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Agronomy of the Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University. Students of the following educational programs were invited to the event: bachelor's degree – «Breeding and seed production», «Advanced Agronomy Science», «Agrotechnology», «Biology», «Soil Science and Agrochemistry», «Phytosanitary safety» and master's degree – «Field crop selection», «Agrotechnology», «Agrobiotechnology», «Agrosoil Science and Plant Nutrition», «Agrochemistry and agroecology», «Phytosanitary Control in Decorative Plant Growing», «Phytosanitary monitoring».

The Fair was attended by managers and representatives from 38 industrial organizations of the RK, including government agencies and enterprises, joint-stock companies and limited liability partnerships, such as:

RGI «State Commission for Variety Testing of Agricultural Crops» of the MA of the RK,

RGI «Republican Methodological Center for Phytosanitary Diagnostics and Forecasts» MA of the RK, SI «Territorial Inspectorate of the State Inspection Committee in the Agro-Industrial Complex for the city of Astana» of MA of the RK, RGI «Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for Agrochemical Service» of the Committee for Land Resources Management of the MA of the RK, SI «Korgalzhinsky District Territorial Inspectorate of the State Inspection Committee in the AIC of the MA of the RK», JSC «Kazakhstan Agrarian Expertise», «AlemAgro» company, LLP «National Agrochemical Company», LLP «A.I. Barayev Research and Production Center for Grain Farming», LLP «Eurasia Group», LLP «TERRA GD», LLP «IMEX Group», LLP «Ecoculture-Eurasia», LLP «First Agrochemical Company», «Agrofirma Baizher» LLP, etc.

The chief manager of the KazATRU Career, Practice and Employment Center, B.T. Abenova, delivered a welcoming speech. She spoke about the main activities of the modern Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, about the importance of education, the development of agrarian science and agriculture of our republic.

Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy B.K. Arinov congratulated young specialists, spoke about the importance of agricultural professions at the present time, about the shortage of personnel in rural areas and encouraged graduates to choose a job in their specialty.

Managers and representatives of organizations spoke about their institutions, outlined in detail the requirements, working conditions, providing information on the average salary level and the social packages they provide. In addition, individual interviews between employers and students took place at the event and graduates’ resumes were reviewed.

Thus, at the «Graduate-2025» fair, employers provided information about the number of vacancies throughout Kazakhstan. As a result, the possibilities of concluding contracts with graduates after completing their studies were discussed in advance. This event provided students with the opportunity to receive expanded information about the vacancies they are interested in, and potential employers - to assess the competence and quality of the knowledge gained by candidates, as well as to attract young staff to work in their institutions.
