As a result, the opening of the Huawei ICT Academy in KATU is important and timely for us," Yerlan Nyssanbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Strategic Development and International Relations, said at the opening ceremony.

Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is one of the world's largest telecommunications companies. Thanks to its innovative developments, Huawei has achieved high results in the production of network equipment and the supply of infocommunication solutions. At the same time, Huawei offers universities around the world cooperation on the program in the field of education and science.

A Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed last year. Instructors of the Academy have been trained from among the teachers of KATU and changes have been made to syllabuses of individual disciplines of the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications. Students have also started training in the Huawei Specialist training course on data transmission technologies and equipment.

-The Huawei ICT Academy in KATU was created in order to stimulate deeper interaction between the agro-industrial complex and communication engineers - experts in network technologies and telecommunications equipment. Smart agriculture needs new people and promising areas working with the processing, storage and transmission of information, - said the administrator of the Academy Arman Mirmanov.

Huawei representative Nursaya Omirserik presented certificates to teachers who have completed Huawei courses and instructors of the academy.
