The Summer School is attended by 100 people from 13 countries

The Summer School is attended by 100 people from 13 countries: Italy, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Morocco, Ireland, Czech Republic, Sweden, the USA, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan including students, undergraduates, doctoral students as well as lecturers of domestic and foreign universities. The organizer of the school is the Faculty of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment of S. Seifullin KATU. This year the Summer School is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the opening of "Forestry", "Ecology" and "Hunting Science" specialties as well as the opening of the Faculty of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment at KATU.

Opening the work of the VII Summer School, its participants were greeted by Kairat Aituganov, the Chairman of the Board of S. Seifullin KATU.

- The annual Summer School, which is traditional for KATU, has reached the international level. This is an indicator of a significant step in the development of science in the fields of forestry, ecology, green economy and wildlife. The work of the Summer School will undoubtedly contribute to the process of further scientific research and create incentives for fruitful work - K. Aituganov emphasized.

According to the dean of the faculty Dani Sarsekova, the main goal for the participants of the Summer School is to acquire new knowledge, master innovative technologies and methods of scientific research in the field of forestry, ecology and wildlife.

The Summer School will last 10 days. Upon completion, students will receive certificates with 3 ECTS credits.
