On October 23, 2025, for the students of the educational program “Biotechnology” (group 03-050–23-10), Associate Professor of the Department of Physics and Chemistry, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences E.Zh. Alimkulova conducted a problem-based lecture on the topic “Protein Metabolism.”
The main purpose of the lecture was to deepen students’ knowledge of the metabolic principles of protein metabolism processes and to develop their ability to apply the acquired knowledge in solving professional tasks within the “Biotechnology” program.

Promoting Vegetable Consumption — Strengthening Public Health in Countries with a Harsh Continental Climate
Fruits and vegetables play an essential role in human health, serving as key sources of vitamins, minerals (including potassium, magnesium and iron), dietary fiber, and antioxidants. Their regular consumption is particularly important for people with low immune resilience, especially in countries with a sharply continental climate.
To evaluate modern cultivation technologies and study the specifics of vegetable production under greenhouse conditions with advanced high-tech lighting systems, practical training sessions for students of the “Agronomy” program at S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical Research University are conducted directly at partner production facilities.
One of the most engaging aspects for students is the opportunity to participate in the implementation of new greenhouse technologies in real production settings. Such initiatives contribute to the wider development of greenhouse vegetable growing among the population — providing opportunities to produce fresh vegetables even during long winter periods.
