Partnership in the field of study and use of modern foreign agricultural machinery

Wide breakthrough of modern foreign agricultural machinery to the market of the agrarian sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan poses new questions for agrarian universities on training of engineering and technical personnel on its use and service.

S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University with the intention to alleviate this problem. S. Seyfullin with the intention to reduce the acuteness of this problem, concluded agreements on cooperation of scientific and educational activities with the company SLAAS (Germany), with the representative of JOHN DEERE in Kazakhstan LLP "Eurasia Group", with Minsk Tractor Plant MTZ, Company "Dairymaster".

Representatives of GLAAS and JOHN DEERE companies annually organise week-long seminars, invite students and faculty to the Field Days and conduct trainings for teachers and give lectures to master's and doctoral students of the subject "Agroengineering".

 At the same time, the companies provide equipment and teaching materials for interactive training on a free of charge basis;

"JOHN DEERE - JOHN DEERE 5080M tractor, sections of transmission and axles of the combine harvester and equipped a separate classroom.

"Dairymaster" - milking machine equipped with a computer program and an exhibition stand for training students.

"CLAAS" - for interactive training.

 - driving programs for LEXION combine harvesters, ARION and AXION tractors; JAGUAR silage harvesters;

- TELEMATICS remote service system - which gives access to all operational data and electrical systems via the Internet;

- visual aids and animated videos for CLAAS machines;

-a working model of the CLAASLEXIONhybrid threshing and separating unit is a combination of two efficient technologies: the APS tangential threshing system and ROTOPLUS separation system;

-S7 and S10 monitors for the EASY control system for GPS PILOT parallel driving to reduce losses and increase productivity.

Minsk Tractor Plant donated a section of MTZ-80X, MTZ-3522 tractors and sections of its separate units and assemblies.

Here it is appropriate to note that KATIU named after S. Seifullin is the largest agrarian university in the zone of virgin agriculture of Kazakhstan and closely co-operates with the Belarusian State Agrarian and Technical University (BGATU), which has a branch of the department at MTZ.

From 2013-2020, 400 students of the technical faculty completed semester-long training at BSATU and underwent practical training at the Minsk Tractor Plant.

The team of students of the Technical Faculty participated for the first time in the International Olympiad among the students of higher educational institutions of agrarian profile on agricultural machinery produced by the enterprises of the Republic of Belarus and took the 2nd place among the teams of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. This is a vivid evidence of the great interest of students in Belarusian agricultural machinery.

International cooperation

Partnership in the study and use of modern foreign agricultural machinery

A wide breakthrough on the market of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan of modern foreign agricultural equipment raises new questions for universities of agricultural profile in training engineering and technical personnel in its use and maintenance.

S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University is having intentions to alleviate this problem, concluded agreements - agreements on the cooperation of scientific and educational activities with CLAAS (Germany), with a representative of JOHN DEERE in Kazakhstan LLP Eurasia Group, and Minsk Tractor Plant MTZ.

Representatives of СLAAS and JOHN DEERE companies annually organize weekly seminars, invite students to the Field Days, faculty and conduct a competition of student work among students of 3-4 courses. So, the official representative of CLAAS-Academy S. Butov, (graduate of the faculty of 1989) and Thomas Barrellmeier - general designer of CLAAS and professors from the University of Osnabruck Dr. Hubert Corte and Dr. Dieter Trautz demonstrated:

  • The operation of an automatic system for copying the topography of the soil - Auto circuit;
  • The operation of the Quadrant-1150 baler in an aggregate with an ARES-836 tractor.

The representative of JOHN DEERE in Kazakhstan, Eurasia Group LLP donated the JOHN DEERE-5080M tractor, sections of the transmission and combines bridges, and equipped a separate audience at no cost.

The Minsk Tractor Plant donated a section of the MTZ-80X and MTZ-3522 tractor sections of their individual units at no cost. It should be noted that KATU named after S.Seifullin is the largest agricultural university in the virgin agriculture zone of Kazakhstan and works closely with the Belarusian State Agrarian and Technical University, which has a branch of the department at the tractor plant MTZ. From 2013 to 2018, more than 300 students underwent semester studies at the Belarusian State Technical University. After the end of 4 semesters, they undergo practical training at the Minsk Tractor Plant and other engineering plants and testing stations. For the first time, a team of students from the technical faculty participated in the International Olympiad among students of agricultural higher educational institutions in agricultural machinery manufactured by enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, and took 2nd place among the teams of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. This is a clear evidence of the huge interest of students in the Belarusian agricultural machinery.
