The annual student beauty contest “Miss KATRU 2024” was fabulous this year.
The organizers of the Miss KATRU 2024 competition were the University club “Symbat Girls”. The competition was sponsored by Astana Clinic, modeling agency Fashion Provocation, flower salon “Sulu” and “Wishlist flowers”, studio “Symbat Vizazh”, cosmetics and perfumes “Sister’s Aroma”, People cafè & bar and restaurant “XO”.
Students of all faculties took part in the competition. Each presented herself with dignity: each has demonstrated the art of dance and presenting skills, and also answered questions. The jury included the General director of the fashion agency "Fashion Provoction" Natalya Sergeevna, event organizer and Vice-miss Astana Aruzhan Tasymbek, "Miss Astana 2022" Dilyara Zhumabay, winner of the main prize of the international beauty contest Danara Arlanovna, head of the Astana Clinic Saniya Muratovna.

The competition took place in four stages:
I round – Acquaintance
II round – Demonstration of outfits in ethno style
ІІІ round – Question and answer
IV round - Fashion show
The competition was held at a very high level. The audience was looking forward to the moment of awarding. As a result, by decision of the panel of judges, Alima Ashirkhan was named “III Vice-Miss 2024”, Aruzhan Zhenisbai “II Vice-Miss 2024”, Sabina Baidalinova “I Vice-Miss 2024”. And the crown of the Miss KATRU 2024 contest went to Aikerim Kaipen.
