A.K. Bulashev - the President of S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University and S.O. Kitaybekova - the chief of the Department of International Relations visited China by invitation of Sintszyanskiy A.K. Bulashev - the President of S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University and S.O. Kitaybekova - the chief of the Department of International Relations visited China by invitation of Sintszyanskiy Agrarian University from March 17 till March 20, 2008.
The purpose of that trip was acquaintance with educational process of the above-mentioned University and further realization of the tasks put in the contract between high schools.
Sintszyanskiy Agrarian University is one of the leading Sintszyan high schools of Uygur Autonomous Region (SUAR) of Chinese People's Republic, it was found in 1952. The high school is located in the administrative centre of Autonomous Republic in Urumchi city with the population more than 3 million people. The basic population is Chinese, Uygurs, Kazakhs and Dungans. The total Kazakh population in SUAR is 1 million 300 thousand. The university campus occupies the territory of 99,7 hectares. The high school has « San Pin» experimental farm with the area of 2,7558 mln.sq.м., some land, and also an educational forestry at the foot of the southern mountains with the area more than 4600 sq.m.
There are 13867 students, 866 undergraduates and 64 persons working for doctor's degree at University. Sintszyanskiy Agrarian University has 17 scientific laboratories. Priority directions of professional training and scientific researches are: agronomy, veterinary science, cattle breeding, water industry and electroconstruction, grass farming, plant protection, control over agriculture and wood economy.
As a result of that visit previous contract has been reconsidered and some points have been added, in particular the professional skills improvement of teachers of S.Seifullin Kaz AU and students’ training in the field of agronomy, veterinary science and economy.
