Needs Assessment Mission for the HWCA Project
October 13, 2023, S. Sefullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University was visited by a delegation from EU partner universities to assess the needs within the framework of the HWCA project “Strengthening Higher Education in the Water Sector to Ensure Climate Resilience and Security in Central Asia - HWCA.” The delegation included: Marton Krasznai – Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, coordinator; Cinzia Giacinta Spinzi – University of Bergamo, Italy; Yulia Borissova – Kazakh-German University, Kazakhstan; Bota Sharipova – Institute of Water Education (IHE Delft), the Netherlands; Janara Baitugolova -Vice-Rector, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
The delegation met with representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with teachers of the Faculty of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment, the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Humanities, as well as with students. A training meeting was held and future project tasks were agreed upon.
