Society of Veterans of S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University

One of the urgent tasks of educating the younger generation is the patriotic education of students. In this direction - in the education of patriots of Kazakhstan - an invaluable role is given to university veterans. There is a constant connection between the older and younger generations through the already traditional meetings of veteran teachers and employees of Kazakh Agro Technical University named after S. Seifullin with students.

At present, more than 200 lecturers and employees of the retirement age are on a well-deserved rest at our university, and some of them continue to work for the benefit of their native university.

The list of university veterans currently includes 469 people of retirement age. The leadership of the university does not disregard its veterans, who have made a huge contribution to the development of the university, the education and upbringing of student youth. So, every year each veteran who has reached the anniversary date, in accordance with clause 4 of QMS 11010.37-2015, is provided with financial assistance in the amount of one monthly calculation Index (MCI).

For the Day of the Elderly, in accordance with paragraph 4 of QMS 11010.37-2015, financial assistance is provided in the amount of three MCI for each.

Every year, in honor of the anniversary in the Second World War, in accordance with clause 5.1 of QMS 11010.37-2015, veterans are provided with material assistance in the amount of five MCI each.

Families of deceased veterans are supported with material assistance in the amount of two MCI.

The Alumni Club of the University organizes solemn events like a festive treat, flowers and financial support on the eve of the Day of the Elderly.

Various festive events are held at the faculties every year: meetings of veterans with students, concert programs, students with curators visit veterans who are on a well-deserved rest.

The purpose of all these events is to pay tribute to the older generation, express gratitude and good wishes for their work. The faculties are not limited only to congratulating veterans on holidays, they maintain constant contact with their veterans; provide them with help and attention in every possible way. Our respected veterans are welcome guests of many university events: Nauryz Holiday, International Women's Day on March 8. Veterans come to different meetings organized by curators and students with great pleasure.
