Career Fair 2025
On February 28, 2025, the Graduate Career Fair 2025 was held in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Agronomy at Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University. The event was attended by students enrolled in the following educational programs: Bachelor’s degree programs: Plant Breeding and Seed Production, Advanced Agronomic Science, Agrotechnology, Biology, Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Phytosanitary Safety. Master’s degree programs: Field Crop Breeding, Agrotechnology, Agrobiotechnology, Agrosoil Science and Plant Nutrition, Agrochemistry and Agroecology, Phytosanitary Control in Ornamental Horticulture, Phytosanitary Monitoring.
The Career Fair was attended by heads and representatives of 38 production organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including government institutions and enterprises, joint-stock companies, and limited liability partnerships. Among them were: the State Commission for Variety Testing of Agricultural Crops of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Republican Methodological Center for Phytosanitary Diagnostics and Forecasting of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Territorial Inspection of the Committee for State Inspection in the Agro-Industrial Complex for the City of Astana of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center of the Agrochemical Service under the Committee for Land Resources Management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Korgalzhyn District Territorial Inspection of the Committee for State Inspection in the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Kazakhstan Agricultural Expertise JSC; AlemAgro Company; National Agrochemical Company LLP; A.I. Baraev Research and Production Center for Grain Farming LLP; Eurasia Group LLP; TERRA GD LLP; IMEX Group LLP; Ecoculture-Eurasia LLP; First Agrochemical Company LLP; Baizher Agrofirm LLP, and others.
The event opened with a welcoming address by Bakyt Tulemisovna Abenova, Chief Manager of the Career, Internship and Employment Center of KATRU. In her speech, she spoke about the key areas of activity of the modern Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, emphasizing the importance of education, the development of agricultural science, and agriculture in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
B.K. Arinov, Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy, congratulated the young specialists and spoke about the current importance of agricultural professions, the shortage of personnel in rural areas, and encouraged graduates to choose employment in their field of specialization.
Heads and representatives of the participating organizations presented their institutions, outlined job requirements and working conditions in detail, and provided information on average salary levels and social benefit packages. In addition, individual interviews between employers and students were conducted, and graduates’ resumes were reviewed during the event.
Thus, at the Graduate Career Fair 2025, employers presented information on the number of available vacancies across Kazakhstan. As a result, opportunities for concluding employment contracts with graduates upon completion of their studies were preliminarily discussed. This event enabled students to obtain comprehensive information about vacancies of interest, while potential employers were able to assess the competencies and quality of candidates’ knowledge and attract young professionals to their organizations.


On March 5, 2025, the Annual Career Fair 2025 was held at Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University (Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Production Technology.
The fair opened with a welcoming address by O.S. Akibekov, Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Production Technology, who briefly acquainted employers with the achievements of the university and provided information on the expected number of graduating students.
G.K. Kazbekov, Head of the Career, Internship and Employment Center of Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, expressed confidence that the university’s graduates would contribute to the economic development of the country’s agricultural sector and that this career fair would promote the establishment of sustainable cooperation between stakeholders and the university.
At the Career Fair 2025, representatives of more than 45 organizations participated with the aim of recruiting graduates of our faculty. Among them were:

Tursunbekov — Deputy Head of the Veterinary Department of the Akimat of the Karaganda Region; R. Alimbekkyzy — Chief Specialist of the Ulytau Regional Territorial Inspection.

In addition, representatives of the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan (Association of Legal Entities), Ordabasy Kus LLP, S.T. Baisetov — Head of a Department of the Central Office of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory (Republican State Enterprise) of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and S.Zh. Imandosov — President of RzaAsyl Tulik LLP, also took part in the event.




On April 18, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering held a Graduate Career Fair in the M.A. Gendelman Assembly Hall. Graduates of the faculty and employers took an active part in the event, exchanging experience on issues of professional development and employment.
The opening address was delivered by E.S. Akhmetov, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, who spoke about the achievements of the faculty staff and the important role of graduates in the labor market. He also highlighted modern educational methods and the faculty’s innovative academic programs.
The fair was attended by well-known leading organizations, including the Labor Mobility Center of the Akimat of Astana, Unified Consolidation Center LLP, Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering LLP, Electric Locomotive Assembly Plant LLP (Alstom), Stahlbau LLP, City Transportation Systems LLP, AGRORESULTING LLP, Synchron LLP, My Farm LLP, and QAIMAQ Bakery and Coffee (Individual Entrepreneur Bolskhan). Representatives of these organizations presented employment opportunities within their companies, outlined career development pathways, and answered students’ questions.
During the fair, connections were established between fourth-year students and employers, and each student received numerous useful tips and recommendations on planning their future careers. Students were provided with practical employment advice and the opportunity to gain applied knowledge.
The Graduate Career Fair serves as an important bridge between the university and employers, helping students prepare for the labor market. Regular organization of such events strengthens the link between academic studies and professional life.
Thus, today’s event became not only a source of new opportunities for students but also a significant step toward defining their future career paths. The Faculty of Engineering will continue to organize similar events and strive to create all the necessary conditions for the professional success of its graduates.




On April 17, 2025, the “Graduate 2025” Job Fair was held at Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University for students of the Faculty of Land Management, Architecture, and Design (UZRAiD).
The event was organized for graduates of the following educational programs:
The main goal of the fair was to facilitate graduates’ employment and provide opportunities for direct interaction with employers.
The participants were welcomed by R.D. Abisheva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Zh.Z. Toleubekova, Dean of the Faculty of UZRAiD.
In 2025, the faculty will graduate 538 students, including 505 bachelor’s degree students, 25 master’s degree students, and 8 doctoral students.

Additionally, representatives of the Labor Mobility Center of the Akimat of Astana participated in the event. They presented programs supporting youth employment, including “First Job”, “Youth Internship”, and introduced the “Generation Contract” project.
During the fair, company representatives provided detailed information about their organizations, open vacancies, candidate requirements, working conditions, and salary levels. Students showed great interest, asked numerous questions, and received valuable recommendations.
Some graduates have already decided on their future workplaces and submitted their resumes to company representatives.
The event format was flexible: employers from different regions who were unable to attend in person participated online via the ZOOM platform.

For any graduate who has just left the walls of their alma mater, it is difficult to immediately understand what lies ahead and where to begin their professional career. The S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, as a responsible higher education institution, monitors the professional paths of its nurtured specialists and actively supports their successful employment. That is why every year, including during the past two weeks, all the University’s Institutes organize a job fair, inviting leaders from various industries to meet graduates, present their organizations, and offer available positions.
On April 11, 2025, the Institute of Business and Digital Technologies of KazATU held its own job fair. The purpose of the job fair at the Institute of Business and Digital Technologies is to provide graduates with the necessary skills and effective advice for employment, as well as to give them an opportunity to gain initial orientation in the labor market.







On April 11, 2025, in the M.A. Hendelman Conference Hall of the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, the event “Job Fair” was held, dedicated to the employment of graduates from the Institute of Energy.
The event was attended by representatives from 18 companies, the Director of the Career, Internship, and Employment Center, G.K. Kazbekov, faculty members, and final-year students.
The moderator of the event was the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, E.B. Ualiev.
The opening address was delivered by the Head of the Career, Internship, and Employment Center, G.K. Kazbekov. This was followed by a speech from the Director of the Institute of Energy, A.K. Mergalimova, who spoke about the main achievements of the institute and its future plans.
