On March 11, 2026, a scientific and practical seminar titled "Integration of Digital Literacy and Artificial Intelligence Tools in Higher Education Institutions" was held. The event was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages and the Institute of Humanitarian and Pedagogical Sciences of S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University in collaboration with the "Bolashak" Association. The primary objective of the seminar was to define the strategic importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in the higher education system, discuss the digital transformation of universities, and enhance the digital competencies of educators.

The program commenced with an opening speech by the Head of the Foreign Languages Department, Issina Zhannur Amankeldykyzy, who addressed the issues of academic responsibility and the development of digital culture. Senior Lecturer from Astana International University, Kaikenov Duman Bazarbaevich, delivered a presentation on digital literacy for faculty and students, emphasizing the effective use of AI tools in the learning process. A practical workshop led by E. Oralbek, S. K. Turarov, and Zh. M. Kairova focused on optimizing the educational system through AI platforms, including the use of Studio tools.

As part of the online webinar, Tatyana Alexandrovna Kokhanover (Master of Pedagogy, "Orleu" branch) demonstrated the capabilities of Google AI for designing lesson scenarios and teaching materials. During the interactive session, participants gained hands-on experience with tools such as Gemini, NotebookLM, and Napkin AI to generate educational ideas and content. The seminar concluded with a reflection session where participants discussed the prospects of digital integration and information security, highlighting the necessity of implementing modern AI solutions into university teaching practices.
