On November 29, 2024, the Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University named after S. Seifullin, through the Department of Professional Education, organized and held the official opening of the Educational and Methodological Association and the Republican Educational and Methodological Council for the training of specialists in the field of "Professional Education (by profile)." The first expanded session of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council was held on the topic: "Current Trends in the Training of Professional Education Teachers in the Context of the Modernization of the Technical and Vocational Education System." The moderator of the session was the Chair of the EMA of the REMC, Board Member, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Candidate  in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Abisheva Roza Zhanysbekovna.

The welcoming speeches were given by:

• Chair of the EMA of the REMC, Board Member, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Candidate  in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Abisheva Roza Zhanysbekovna;
• Deputy Chair of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the MSHE of the RK,Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Dzharaova Gulzhan Sagidullaevna;
•  PhD, Professor of department of Traditional Turkish Art, Akdeniz University (Turkey) – Omer Zaimoglu.

Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Social Work at the Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala (Belarus), Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Viktor Petrovich Tarantei.

During the session, the following reports were heard:

• Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Narbekova Banu Mukataevna, on the topic: "Engineering and Pedagogical Personnel for a Competitive Economy and the Progressive Development of the Country";
• Head of the Content Management Office of Higher Education at the National Center for Higher Education Development, Cab in Physics and Mathematics, Mukhametova Amina Akzatovna, on the topic: "Analysis of Educational Programs in Professional Education";
• Head of the Strategic Development, Comprehensive Analysis, and Monitoring Department of the NAO "Talap", Candidate in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Dalabaev Zhanat Kuanishbaevich, on the topic: "Staffing in the System of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET): Current State, Key Problems, and Solutions";
• Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy at the Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilyov, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Albytova Nazymgul Pyshakbaevna, on the topic: "The Essence of the Profession as a Modern Trend."

Additionally, the speech was given to doctoral students, graduates of the program "6D012000 – Professional Education," who are currently undergoing an internship as part of the "Bolashak" program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (USA), Bermukhambetova Botagoz Bulatovna and Gulderai Adilkhanovna Akhmetjanova.

After the presentations, the participants of the session discussed the relevant issues and exchanged views on the training of professional education teachers in the context of the modernization of the technical and vocational education system.

The closing remarks were made by the Head of the Department of "Professional Education," Candidate in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Chair of the REMC, EsekeshovaMaralDuysenevna, who thanked all the participants for their active and productive work at the session and informed them about the further plans for the activities of the EMA.
