A seminar was held at the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications on the topic “Problems of training specialists for the communications industry” on May 3, 2023. Speaker is Mukhamedrakhimov K.U., Ph.D., Senior Lecturer of Department of RET. The report voiced the problems that arise in the educational process in the training of engineering personnel and ways to solve them.

At present, the level of knowledge of graduates of general education schools is too low for the university to train highly qualified engineers. One of the main problems is the poor preparation of schoolchildren in mathematics and physics, which manifests itself in the absence of a conceptual apparatus, in the inability to express one's thoughts and the ability to independently find answers to the questions posed in the literature, paradoxical as it may sound, a weak interest in obtaining knowledge.

During the seminar, the participants were involved in the discussion of topical issues: ways to introduce modern technologies into the learning process; improving the professional qualities of teaching staff; strengthening the educational component in the learning process.
