KATIU students won the GRAND PRIX in the creative festival “JASTAR JALYNY-2023”

In the capital, at the State Academic Philharmonic named after E. Rakhmadiev, the largest and most spectacular youth festival “JASTAR JALYNY-2023” ended.

The festival has been held for 10 years and has become a favorite event among students. In 2023, 13 universities in Astana took part.

“Zhastar Zhalyny” is a cultural event that brings together hundreds of youth and creative groups, uniting them with one goal - to develop in a creative direction.

In the period from December 5 to 10, students of S. Seifullin KATIU took part in all 10 nominations, where they won prizes in the following nominations:

The student theater "Akzhelken" took 1st place in the "Theater" nomination. Students showed a dramatic production of “Tears of Gulbahram”, authored by the poet, scientist, playwright G.E. Eshtanaev.

The folk instrumental ensemble “Shabyt” took 1st place in the “Musical Instruments” nomination. The ensemble was distinguished by its skillful performing skills, harmonizing such musical instruments as dombra, kobyz, saz syrnai, cajon, and main dombyra.

In the “Poetry” nomination, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Art and Culture Amirkhan Eldar took 1st place;

In the “Drawing” nomination, 2nd year student of the Faculty of UZRAiD Mukasheva Samal took 2nd place;

In the intellectual game "Qazaqquiz" KATIU took 2nd place.

The Arrow Crew student club, created in 2017, took 2nd place in the Modern Dance category. Having assessed the storyline of the dance and the performing abilities of the young people, the jury selected the “Arrow crew” team as one of the best.

In the “Media” nomination, the student club “KATZU MEDIA”, presenting their video, took 2nd place;

The dance ensemble “Shattyk” took 3rd place in the “Folk Dance” nomination;

In the “Variety” category, 1st year student of the UZRAID faculty Saduakasova Ainur took 3rd place.

For winning places, the teams were awarded cash rewards and valuable prizes.

In the overall team competition among 13 universities, KATIU won the GRAND PRIX of the festival.
