The results of the II stage of the XVIII Republican Subject Student Olympiad have been announced for the educational program group "B059 Communications and Communication Technologies". The competition was hosted by Gumarbek Daukeyev Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (AUES).
Based on the individual competition results, a 3rd-year student demonstrated a high level of theoretical and practical training: Maxim Alekseevich Kulakov (group 08-059-23-16B) won an honorable 2nd place and was awarded a II degree diploma. The other team members also made a significant contribution to the total score: Aruzhan Tolebekkyzy Baizakhan (4th year, group 08-059-22-15) and Moldir Erzhanovna Yeshimtayeva (3rd year, group 08-059-23-15). The scientific supervisor who ensured the excellent preparation of the entire team was the Acting Associate Professor, PhD Zhanat Dusenbaевна Manbetova.
Thanks to the successful and consistent performance of all three participants, S. Seifullin KATRU took a leading position in the overall ranking of the country's universities:
1st place: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU);
2nd place: S. Seifullin KATRU and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU);
3rd place: M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University (SKU), Turan University, and METU.
