From September 11 to 13, 2026, a delegation from S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University is participating in the 2026 International Academic Conference on Agricultural Wellness in Jinan, People’s Republic of China.
The university is represented by five participants: Gulmira Satybaldieva — Director of the Institute of Agriculture and Forestry, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor; Dameliya Konysbayeva — Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor; Makpal Bostubayeva — PhD, Senior Lecturer, Research Project Leader; Askar Zhanabergenov — Master of Natural Sciences, Senior Lecturer; and Dauren Serikbay — Master of Agricultural Sciences, Lecturer.
The main scientific program on September 11 is being held at the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (SAAS) and includes plenary and scientific presentations by researchers from China, Japan, Serbia, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Iran, Malaysia, Argentina, Indonesia, and other countries.
The key themes of the conference focus on the development of sustainable and healthy agriculture, digital technologies, environmentally safe production, genetic improvement of agricultural crops, soil health, and increasing the resilience of agroecosystems to climate change. The program also features research in the fields of green nanotechnology and climate-resilient farming.
The participation of researchers from S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University is aimed at presenting the university’s scientific developments, exchanging experience with international colleagues, and strengthening cooperation with international scientific and educational institutions.
The conference program also includes field activities and visits to scientific, production, and demonstration facilities of the Institute of Leisure Agriculture.
