From 6 to 9 April 2018 in S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University passed TOM: Kazakhstan is a social 72-hour marathon, during which the creators create prototypes aimed at solving everyday problems of people with disabilities.

The project is being implemented by the Association of Friends of Tel-Aviv University in the Republic of Kazakhstan, jointly with Pavlodar Region Administration with the support of S.Toraygyrov PGU, Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant JSC, and the ERG Corporation (Eurasian Group). The purpose of this project is to create a useful and easy to manufacture invention with an affordable price, which will serve as a prototype for its mass production. In the development of prototypes, engineers are assisted by people with disabilities, from which the problem arises, specialists - rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, commercializers and social entrepreneurs.

In total, 9 teams took part in this year. Teams will solve the problems of 9 needy people with disabilities. From the Kazakh Agrotechnical University participated the national team "KazATU", and was awarded as the best prototype by certificates and had the opportunity to study at the "School of Social Business Partnership". the composition of the KazATU team consists of teachers from the Faculty of Computer Systems and Professional Training - Koksegen Aliya, Tashkenbayeva Zhulduz, Kaldarova Mira and from the technical faculty Shakeriya Zangar, from the energy department of Baltymov Salamat. The team developed a prototype of the "Modernized tricycle for people with cerebral palsy" and proved the effectiveness of the prototype.
