Lecture by the FAO specialist Lachininsky A.V. in KATRU

Today, locust control specialist Alexander Vsevolodovich Lachininsky, Agriculture Officer of the Office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, gave a lecture to students of the Faculty of Agronomy. FAO officer Lachininsky A.V. familiarized students with the reasons for the development of insects, the reproduction of harmful insects, which of them are used in food, as feed for farm animals, as well as other topical issues regarding the influence of insects on agriculture in general, and on food security for people. Master's and doctoral students asked many questions, the lecture was held at a high level, since Alexander Vsevolodovich fully explained the questions, providing actual indicators and current principles of farming.
