Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University was visited by the head of the APD project, Diethard Rudert, the chairman of the agricultural cooperative "Langenchursdorf eG" Rainer Stauch and the doctoral student of the German research center ZALF Münchenberg Tolmasbek Boltayev.
The purpose of the visit is to hold a guest lecture for teachers and students on organizing sustainable agriculture in Germany, as well as assessing the salinization of irrigated soils by analyzing satellite images in arid regions of Uzbekistan.
The lecture was attended by the Vice-rector for scientific and innovative activities I.T.Tokbekenov, the Director of the ICMEDC S.A. Meiramova, the faculty staff and students.
I.T.Tokbekenov briefly presented information on the activities of the university and briefly described the cooperation of KATU with the main agricultural machinery manufacturers in Germany, in particular with the company CLAAS, which is the direct economic partner of the APD and German agrarian center.
After the lectures and reports, the guests met with the teaching staff of the agronomical, land management and technical faculties and discussed the issues of agronomy, soil science, salinization problems, resalinization of soils, etc.
The result of the lecture hearing was the opportunity for students to learn new professional knowledge and acquire the experience of communicating with foreign scientists in the field of sustainable agriculture.
At the end of the meeting the Vice-rector for science and innovation activity I.T.Tokbekenov handed the guests memorable souvenirs, the parties made a memorable photo together with the students and came to an agreement on further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
