In the 3rd quarter of 2023, the following activities were carried out:

1) Local coordinator of the international project EU ERASMUS+ 618715-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “Development of a circular economy in partner countries through the development and implementation of a master’s program in Waste Management” funded under the European Union Erasmus + program Gulmira Kalmashevna Satybaldieva , Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology at KATIU named after. S. Seifullina took part as a speaker at the Eurasian Forum on Waste Management and Renewable Energy “GREEN ENERGY & WASTE RECYCLING FORUM” (GEWR) held on July 4-5 in Astana.

Participants of the round table “Transition to IEP and BAT: what should enterprises expect?” Satybaldieva G.K. the main results obtained in the period from 2021 to 2023 were reported. and presented the educational programs of 3 universities - partners of Kazakhstan in the EP “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources” of the Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after. Sakena Seifullina (Astana), EP “Waste Management”, Kokshetau University. Sh. Ualikhanov (Kokshetau), EP "Geoecology and environmental management" Kostanay Regional University named after. A. Baitursynov ( Kostanay ) developed as part of the project.

The training of highly educated specialists in the field of sustainable management of natural resources , competent in the field of waste management, capable of using innovative approaches in creating waste management infrastructure is one of the pressing problems in the modern labor market.
