In the 4th quarter of 2023, the following activities were carried out:

1) October 2-6, 2023 Un - Waste team KATIU named after. Sakena Seifullina took part in seminars organized by partners from EKA University , Riga, Latvia within the framework of the international project EU ERASMUS+ 618715-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “Development of a circular economy in partner countries through the development and implementation of the master's program Waste Management" funded under the European Union Erasmus + program.

      

  

2) October 9-14, 2023 Un-Waste team KATIU named after. Sakena Seifullina participated in training seminars on the topic " Sustainability Waste Managment ", organized by the grandholder - Hochschule Wismar , University of Applied Sciences : Technology, Business and Design , Wismar , Germany . The training took place within the framework of the educational project ES Erasmus + Un Waste "Development of a circular economy (circular economy) in partner countries based on the development and implementation of the master's program "Waste Management"

  

  

  

3) October 19, 2023 Un - Waste team KATIU named after. Sakena Seifullina took part in an online webinar organized by specialists from the RMS Center on the topic “Sustainable management of electronic waste: Central Asia in focus,” dedicated to the celebration of International Electronic Waste Day, which is celebrated on October 14. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the growing problem of e-waste and promote responsible e-waste management. During the webinar Key issues were discussed on the situation with electronic waste in the world and Central Asia, the impact on the environment and the resource potential of electronic waste, and priority measures for the collection and recycling of electronic waste.
