Awarded degree of the master of agricultural sciences in the educational program "Agrology and plant nutrition"

Duration: 2 years

  1. The purpose of the educational program “Agrology and plant nutrition” is to prepare competitive, highly qualified specialists capable of solving theoretical and practical problems in the field of soil science and agricultural chemistry, capable of formulating and solving modern scientific and practical problems of restoring and improving soil fertility, optimizing plant nutrition and increasing agricultural productivity. crops that successfully carry out research and management activities in various agricultural industries x.

Objectives of the educational program:

- the choice of an individual direction of education;

- deepening of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of soil science and agrochemistry, due to the issues of conservation and improvement of soil fertility and productivity of agricultural crops;

- acquisition of skills in the organization of soil and agrochemical research and obtaining fundamental knowledge to continue research in doctoral studies;

- development of the ability to self-improvement and self-development in solving issues of conservation and reproduction of soil fertility, the rational use of fertilizers.

General characteristics of the educational program

The relevance of this OP is determined by the fact that it gives an opportunity to get an in-depth view of the soil as an integrated system, the interaction of soil formation factors that determine the direction and patterns of modern soil formation, the internal and spatial organization of soil, because for agriculture, soils are the main means of production. In turn, the issues of nutrition of agricultural plants are directly related to the soil conditions and knowledge of this issue will allow to develop a system of nutrition of crops.

In recent years, there has been a rapid growth of interest in precision farming, agrochemical analysis of soil by agricultural producers of all categories, and the rational use of land resources. Therefore, the specialization of master training in the field of "Agrology and plant nutrition" is based on the needs and trends of the market. This will provide an opportunity to develop effective farming in the country due to the rational introduction of nutrients, knowledge of methods of preserving and improving soil fertility, as key factors affecting crop yields.
