The purpose of the educational program. The educational program of training of the PhD has a scientific and pedagogical orientation which purpose is fundamental, educational, methodological and research preparation and in-depth study of disciplines of agricultural Sciences for system of the higher and postgraduate education and the scientific sphere in the direction "plant Growing" satisfying requirements of employers..

Objectives of the educational program:

  1. Formation of system of understanding I field of study, skill and in terms of skills and research methods used in the field of agriculture and biological resources ;
  2. Planning, development, implementation and adjustment of the complex process of scientific research;
  3. The ability to contribute with our own original research to expand the boundaries of the scientific field, which may deserve publication at the national or international level;
  4. To critically analyze, evaluate and synthesize new and complex ideas;
  5. To communicate their knowledge and achievements to colleagues and students in the pedagogical activity , the scientific community and the general public;
  6. To promote the development of a society based on the knowledge of agricultural science.

General characteristics of the educational program

The educational program "Phytosanitary technologies" was created based on the request of employers due to the increased need for specialists who will have general cultural, professional and specialized competences in plant protection , contributing to its social mobility and demand for the labor market .

The educational program "Phytosanitary technologies" in the field of training: 8D081 crop Production is developed in accordance with the National framework of qualifications and professional standards in plant protection and quarantine (Order of the Minister of agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 21, 2014 № 20/58), agreed with the Dublin descriptors of the European framework of qualifications.

The educational program is designed on the basis of a modular system for the study of disciplines and consists of 2 modules. Total provided 180 credits, including 33 credits allocated to t In theory, training , Mr. and research work and research practice - 135 credit and , on the final assessment of 12 credit s .

Field of professional activity

Graduates who have completed the doctoral education program Phytosanitary technology can work in research and production enterprises , institutions and organizations of higher education, agribusiness for state control and supervision in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the territory of the country in the field of plant protection and quarantine; to achieve the objectives for the implementation of programs and activities for the cultivation of crops at regional level (regional e and district agricultural department); for research work on plant protection; for educational activities in specialized secondary and higher educational institutions ; for the implementation of pesticides, specialized equipment; production and and formulation of pesticides; dilutions  biological agents and their implementation; performing  phytosanitary monitoring and forecasting in the field of plant protection and quarantine; planning and organization of protective measures against pests, diseases and weeds.

Graduates of doctoral studies should possess modern interactive methods and technologies of training, use them in the educational process ; have skills: critical analysis, evaluation and comparison of various scientific theories and ideas; analytical and experimental research activities; planning and forecasting research results; oratory and public speaking at international scientific forums, conferences and seminars; scientific writing and scientific communication; planning, coordinating and implementing research processes; system understanding of the field of study and demonstrate the quality and effectiveness of selected scientific methods; participation in scientific events, fundamental scientific domestic and international projects; leadership and team management;responsible and creative attitude to scientific and scientific-pedagogical activity; conducting a patent search and experience in transferring scientific information using modern information and innovative technologies; protection of intellectual property rights to scientific discoveries and developments; free communication in a foreign language. B yt competent: in the field of scientific and educational activities in the context of rapid updating and growth of information flows; in conducting theoretical and experimental research; in the formulation and solution of theoretical and applied problems in scientific research; in conducting professional and comprehensive analysis of problems in the relevant field; in matters of interpersonal communication and human resource management; in matters of university training; in the examination of scientific projects and research; in ensuring continuous professional growth.

Have skills with modern techniques and methods of protection and quarantine using environmentally friendly technologies; modern methods of conducting laboratory and field experiments on plant protection; modern methods of phytosanitary examination of crops and the diagnosis of pests, including quarantine objects; main methods of statistical processing of research results using computers and computer equipment; methods of disinfection of regulated products, as well as vehicles; teaching activities in the field of plant protection and quarantine . B yt competent in carrying out research work on the protection and quarantine of plants; in the use of modern instruments and equipment; in the application of biotechnological methods in plant protection; in the quarantine examination and laboratory examination of imported and exported quarantine products; in conducting classes on plant protection and quarantine.
