General characteristics of the educational program
The educational program “Farm Management” was developed in accordance with the classifier of training areas with higher and postgraduate education and agreed with the Dublin descriptors and the European qualifications framework.
The educational program is focused on providing comprehensive and high-quality training for competitive, highly qualified specialists in the field of animal husbandry and crop production, capable of solving theoretical and practical problems of professional activity in modern conditions.
Currently, specialists are in demand that have in-depth knowledge of the chosen in the field of education and possess the skills of the specialty in the production of agricultural products, including livestock and crop production. Consequently, the specialist of the new formation must be prepared to work on farms of various forms of ownership, where different types of livestock and crop production are produced. In this regard, the training of specialists in the educational program "Farm Management" is very relevant.
The educational program is designed on the basis of a system for studying disciplines and includes 12 modules that form general educational and professional competencies.
The educational program includes theoretical training in the amount of 205 credits and practical training in the amount of 15 credits and final control - 12 credits. At the same time, the student must master 51 credits or 1530 hours for the compulsory component (GE cycle), 86 credits or 2580 hours for the university component and 91 credits or 2730 hours for the component of choice.
