Disciplines and courses taught

Technological methods to reduce the formation of harmful emissions at thermal power plants (English), Methods of extreme energy saving, Materials science in thermal engineering, Structural materials in heat and gas supply and ventilation, Features of the use of secondary energy resources, High-temperature processes and installations.

Main areas of research

The author has created and tested a new generation pilot smelting reactor with a slag productivity of 1.5 t/h for processing technogenic waste (see Fig. 1-3).

Based on the melting reactor the following are being developed:

1) technology for carbon regeneration from carbon dioxide in the exhaust gases of boiler units;

3) technology for producing hydrogen-enriched synthesis gas during the processing of Ekibastuz coal;

4) energy-saving, waste-free, and environmentally friendly technology for processing sulfide lead concentrates for the Shalkiya deposit;

5) technology for carbon regeneration from carbon dioxide of exhaust Cowper gases of blast furnaces;

6) energy-saving technology for processing Karatau phosphorites into defluorinated fodder phosphates and phosphorus-containing waste into mineral fertilizers;

7) energy-saving, waste-free technology for processing tin concentrates from the Syrymbet deposit based on a new zinc method for extracting tin into sublimates.

Education

 1964-1969. Ivanovo Energy Institute is named after the October Revolution, RSFSR, with the specialty “Industrial Thermal Power Engineer”.

1986-1991. Postgraduate studies at the Moscow Energy Institute are named after. V.I. Lenin, with a degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, specialty 05.14.04, Industrial Thermal Power Engineering.

2010. Doctoral dissertation defense at the Karaganda Chemical-Technological Institute named after. Zh. Abishev, specialty 05.16.02, “Metallurgy of ferrous, non-ferrous and rare metals.”

Work experience, (55 years)

1969 – 1971. Mechanic of a heavy vehicle fleet, mechanized works department, Mangyshlak Neftegazostroy Trеst, Uzen.

1971–1976. Shift supervisor of the steam power shop of the phosphorus salts plant, Chimkent.

1976 – 1998. Deputy head of the specialized repair and installation department of the Sredaztsvetmetenergo Trеst, Chimkent.

1998-2012 Director of Otrar LLP, for experimental research of energy-saving technologies, Chimkent.

2012-2024 Associate Professor of the Department of Heat Power Engineering, KazATIU named after S. Seifullin, Astana
