Research Interests

  1. Renewable energy: a vortex wind turbine with a flow concentrator; a straight-through turbine for small and mini HPPs; generators of modular type for wind and hydro turbines;
  2. Safety of hydraulic structures: spillways of open, mine and cascade types, dampers of excess energy of the waste stream with the use of swirling flow and impact of jets;
  3. Numerical methods of hydroaeromechanics: mathematical modeling of two-phase flows taking into account the processes of aeration and deaeration of water; a computational experiment to determine the optimum profile of hydraulic and wind wheel blades.
