At the championship competed in two disciplines: kata and kumite from 12 years and older in 37 weight categories, as reported by the press service of the national federation kyokushinkai-kan karate. 250 participants from 12 countries came to the championship: Kazakhstan, Iran, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Japan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Turkmenistan. Honor of our university among men was defended by athlete Aitbai Zhandos, a student of the third year of JSC "Kazakh Agrotechnical University" S.Seifullin of the Faculty of Economics.
Aitbai Jandos won the Asian Championships in Kyokushinkai-kan karate and won bronze, according to the age category: +18, up to 85 kg. Such an important event, I would like to share with you irresistibly.
