Grant funding of young scientists under the "ZhasGalym" project for 2023-2025

Competition for grant funding of young scientists under the "ZhasGalym" project for 2023-2025, AP14870270 «Transfer and adaptation of the technology of growing flax of Kazakh and Chinese varieties to increase productivity in the production of oil, fibers in Northern Kazakhstan». For 2023-2025 - 22 961 540 thousand tenge: including for 2023 – 7 461 456  million tenge.

The purpose of the project is to obtain high-quality oil and fiber from flax varieties of Chinese and Kazakh selection, by transferring and adapting flax cultivation technology in the conditions of Northern Kazakhstan.

To achieve this goal, it is necessary to achieve the following tasks:

 1. determine the productivity of flax varieties of Chinese and Kazakh breeding for oil and fiber, depending on the timing of harvesting and the degree of lodging;

2. to determine the species composition of weed vegetation in flax crops, and to assess their impact on the growth and development of the studied flax varieties;

3. to evaluate the quality of flax oil depending on varietal characteristics, and elements of agricultural cultivation techniques;

4. to identify the YAM-relaxation characteristics of protons of triacylglycerols of linseed oils with the determination of the mass fractions of linolenic, oleic, palmettic and stearic acids;

5. to identify the most acceptable method of obtaining flax fiber of Chinese and Kazakh selection, and to determine its quality;

6. carry out mathematical processing of the data obtained using Statistical and Anova programs;

7. to evaluate the economic efficiency of obtaining flax oil and fiber varieties of Chinese and Kazakh breeding, with the adaptation of cultivation technology.
