The last part of the presentation (the potential of social media to include and empower people with disabilities) focused on the phenomenon that more and more people with disabilities in Europe and the United States are successfully presenting themselves on social media. In doing so, they often take on the function of so-called influencers. In other words, their appearance changes the perception of disability in society and at the same time opens up a great potential for professional independence. A short overview was given of the context of the disability rights movement and how it can change the movement if leadership is more individualized.

With the help of a few short thought-provoking impulses and examples, several questions were discussed about what role this could play in Central Asia.

Ms. Kuralai Zharova mentioned the legislative norms of Kazakhstan, which were amended to support people with disabilities socially and economically. She explained the current state of the legislation and the new measures and their expectations. In addition, 32 changes and additions were made to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the support of social entrepreneurship. Key aspects of her presentation:

- An allowance has been introduced for citizens caring for disabled people of group 1, regardless of the reason.

- Taking into account the degree of health impairment and disability of the child, the law provides for the division of children from 7 to 16 years old according to disability groups.

- Granting the right to the simultaneous receipt of disability benefits and survivors' benefits.

- Provision, at the expense of the state, of technical means and rehabilitation services to persons who have received a disability as a result of an industrial injury, if the employer fails to fulfill its obligations.

- Preserving the right of families bringing up children with disabilities to queue up for housing upon reaching the age of adulthood.

Based on the results of the discussion, we can conclude the following:

1. To popularize the ideas of an inclusive society, positive examples of education and professional self-realization of persons with disabilities with the active involvement of the media

2. To contribute to the promotion of the ideas of an inclusive society, the adoption of the principles and priorities of inclusion in society by supporting the implementation of socially-oriented projects together with social entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations.

3. To actively involve persons with disabilities and representatives of public associations of persons with disabilities in expert work in the development of draft laws in the field of inclusion.

4. To conduct active information work at all levels about the measures taken to develop an inclusive society.

5. To conduct public awareness campaigns that promote a positive image of persons with disabilities and take all measures necessary to remove barriers that prevent or restrict the effective participation of persons with disabilities in society.

Topic: "The path to inclusion"

Madina Abdresheva, being as a visually impaired person, shared her experience of involving people with special needs in the educational process, at the same time, her work in Bolashak Academy, Karaganda, as well as her experience in master's degree and writing a thesis on this topics allow her to apply in practice the developed methodology of foreign language teaching of reading skills, in particular, students with visual impairments. In the future, Madina Abdresheva will further study the topic of inclusive education and improve the system of integrating people with special needs to the educational process.

As a conclusion from this presentation, we can conclude the following: it is necessary to develop a positive experience in the implementation of methods of teaching reading in a foreign language for students with special educational needs.

6. Speech by Nurbek Ensebayev, Project Manager Sezual - Healthtech startup company, which develops inclusion technologies that allow visually impaired people to freely navigate in space.

The inventors of these technologies gave a brief overview and characteristics of each of the created devices, which would allow people with disabilities to socialize and introduce them to the full life of society.

SEZUAL is an assistive device that helps blind and visually impaired people "see". A small device suspended from the neck makes sounds that characterize an object at a distance of 15 meters. It activates a natural compass that allows a person to independently navigate in an open space.

The device is a useful aid for the visually impaired. SEZUAL uses the same technique as bats or dolphins - echolocation. Sound signals reflect off the surface of an object and transmit a signal about its size, shape, material and distance to it. The sound of the device activates the visual part of the brain and creates a three-dimensional image of space.

SEZUAL is an innovative invention that plays an important role in breaking down barriers. Users can learn to feel the environment and navigate among moving objects in 2 months. On the market for such devices, there are analogues such as Argus II and Seeing AI from Microsoft. SEZUAL offers a smaller and cheaper alternative to see even totally blind people.

The development of such start-ups would help to promote the idea of inclusive education.
