Оpen lectures were organized at the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications for 3-4 year students with the invitation of specialists from different companieson April 12, 2023. Chief Expert of the IT Department of NAC Kazatomprom JSC, graduate of KATU named after S. Seifullina Dokuchaev Dmitry Vyacheslavovich gave a lecture on the topic "Work in the field of IT and telecommunications", spoke about global trends, prospects and necessary competencies for successful work in the field of network technologies. Another speaker, Head of the Information Security Department Alibek Tolubaev, held a master class on the topic “Information Security in Telecommunications”, spoke about the types of hackers, about the vulnerabilities of transmission networks and data storage systems. In conclusion, students and teachers of the department took an active part in the discussion of topical issues of employment and improving the level of training in accordance with the requests of employers. Also discussed was the possibility of students passing professional practice, internships for teachers and the inclusion of disciplines in educational programs recommended by guest lecturers.
