Literary and creative club "Literary Lounge", established at the department of the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​of the Faculty of Humanities of our university, is engaged in the development of creative abilities of students.

The Club of the French language has been working in the S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University since 2009.

English Language Club has resumed its work in S.Seifullin Kazakh Agricultural University since September 2017.

The aims of the English language club are:

• Development and improvement of English speaking skills;
• Non formal and entertaining communication in foreign language;
• Introduction of the culture of English speaking countries;
• Active participation in forming еру university community and support of culture traditions of the university.  

The objectives of the English language club are:

• Facilitate interconnectivity among students of different universities, regions and countries;
• Organizing workshops and masterclasses and seminars for teaching and developing English language skills of students;
• Promote students’ participation in research and creative events: Forming active students group for further participation in scientific conferences, agricultural traineeship, in the programs of academic mobility, in international training programs and participation in international projects.  

   In the first half of 2017-2018 academic year, foreign languages department renewed the work of the English language club so as to develop extracurricular language training, to practice language skills and form linguistic environment for students. Club events are conducted in English.

     The club events are run by the teachers of the department and the students, whose English is good.

   Club members are students, master course students and the teachers of S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro technical University, namely the teachers wishing to speak fluent English.

   The work of the club focuses on raising discussions, introducing presentations of different themes, watching movies in an interactive mode.

   During the first half of the year the club members met twice a month (for example, round table, seminar, watching short films on definite themes with further discussion of the plot, presentation of films and do on).

   One of the first events of the club was devoted to the theme “What makes people happy” supervised by senior teachers of the department of foreign languages M. Baigoshkarova and S. Rustemova, the  event was organized and conducted according to the method of French methodologist Edward de Bono “Six thinking hats”.

   The following teachers – B.Ye. Alimzhanova and A.P, Abildina introduced the presentations on the theme “Relationships between parents and children”. During the presentation the members of the club watched the movie on the theme and expressed their opinions on the topic and the movie. Discussion took an interactive form. 

   The following teachers of foreign languages department – Kaikenov D.B. and Zhalelova G.M. conducted a role-play lesson of “Inventions. Robot technology”

German Lovers Club has resumed its work at S.Seifullin Kazakh Agricultural University since October 19, 2015

In the first half of the 2015-2016 school year, the department of foreign languages resumed the work of the German Language Club in order to develop extracurricular language training, the formation of language practice and language environment for students. Twice a month, club members visit the INFO-LAB center at the Goethe-Institut, where various meetings with native speakers, creative meetings and films are shown for club members and students.

"Шаттык" is the first dance group created at the S. Seifullin KATU in 2007 under the leadership of Shamshiev Almat Sherdaruly. The repertoire of the ensemble includes dozens of Kazakh and dances of other nations of the world. No major university event is complete without the participation of a dance team. About the student ensemble know even outside the country - "Шаттык" is the winner of international competitions.

Purpose:

The history of the creation of the orchestra is connected with the history of the university. In 1959, at the S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, the dombyra circle was opened and began its work. In the same year, under the direction of director G. G. Duhov, instruments for orchestra were purchased from Karaganda by special order. The first leaders of the ensemble were well-known musicians Saylau Boranbayev and Zhumagali Kyzdarbekov.

The club «In Search of Wisdom» provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of the profession of the philosopher, the main subjects of the philosophical cycle - the history of philosophy, ontology and gnoseology, ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, philosophy of culture and religion. Classes at the Young Philosopher Club are not part of the preparation for the entrance exams, but allow students, together with teachers, to read and analyze the texts of the classics of philosophy, to organize debatable discussions and round tables on philosophical and social science issues.

The club «Society and Youth» is a youth dialogue platform of humanitarian faculty of the S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.

Purpose of the club: formation of political culture, disclosure of creative and intellectual potential of the youth founded on patriotic, spiritual and moral values of the Kazakhstan society.

Tasks of the club:

• assistance and support of the initiatives aimed at the intellectual, spiritual, physical development of students of the S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University;
• participation in public work of humanitarian faculty;
• patriotic education of the members «of the club Society and Youth», as the major spiritual and social component.

The historical circle "Мирас" is an organization created by teachers and students of Saken Seifullin KATU.

In the historical circle "Miras" students of 1-4 courses of all specialties can take part. Conducting meetings and events between students, expressing their opinions, historical consciousness is formed and the art of speech is honed.

The purpose of the Club "Мирас":

• to develop personality traits that will serve the people in the future;

• organization of research and development of spiritual heritage;

• formation of the main features of patriotism and citizenship among students.

The club currently has 21 students.

The head of the club is senior lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, candidate of historical sciences B. B. Ensepov.

"Kalamger" Literary and creative club which was established at the department of the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​of our university it is engaged in the development of students' creative abilities. Club members organize meetings twice a month to discuss event plans.

The purpose of the club: spiritual and moral education, the development of creative potential.

Objectives of the club:

• Participation of students at republican, regional and city competitions;

• Meeting with writers, poets, organize a round table, develop creative abilities of talented students;

• To publish the creative work of students;

A collection of poems by young poets and writers is published annually.

Student scientific club "Young philologist" at the department of Kazakh and Russian languages ​​of humanitarian faculty, S.Seifullin KATU 
   The student scientific club "Young philologist" is a voluntary scientific and public organization of students who are interested in research work and actively participate in it.
   The scientific student's club of the department organizes its work according to the plan, which is developed in accordance with the plans of the research work of the Humanities Faculty.

   The purposes of the club work :
• Involvement of students who are interested in research work;
• Encourage students to develop skills for research;
• Organization of the students’ research work ;
• Promoting the publication of the best students’ work;
• Organization and holding of competitions of student scientific works, student scientific conferences, olympiads.

   The club consists of 22 students.
The head of the club is the senior teacher of Kazakh and Russian languages department, master of pedagogy and psychology A.M.Kazhgaliyeva.
