Student scientific club "Parasitologist Researcher"

There is a student scientific club "Parasitologist Researcher" at the Biological Sciences Department under the guidance of Associate Professor L. T. Bulekbaeva and Masters A. Arystanbai, L. Meyramkhan. The 1st and 2nd courses students of the Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry Faculty and the Biological Sciences Department are engaged in scientific research work.

Scientific club topic: Study of domestic animals, wild and domestic birds, and fish parasitosis.

Aim and objectives of the club: to attract students to research work, create an opportunity to master parasitological methods and provide preventive measures against identified parasites.

The tasks of the scientific club:

- Mastering the methods of parasitological research (application of innovative methods. Working with modified solutions of Fulleborn, Shulman, antifreeze and cooling liquid);

- Examination of the animals’ skin for ascariasis by mortal and vital methods. Comparative research.

Outcomes:

- increasing the creative activity of students;

- serves as a basis for in-depth study in special disciplines;

- working with scientific and educational-methodical literature, using modern sources of information skills development;

- participation in scientific conferences and research projects.
