Agricultural biotechnology (disease-free seed potatoes and selection, development of diagnostic tests for the detection of viral plant diseases, plant micropropagation, xylotrophic mushroom growing)

Main research areas:

Agricultural biotechnology (virus-free seed potato production, development of diagnostic tests for detection of plant viral diseases, micropropagation of plants).

- Project supervisor: «Development of an enzyme immunoassay test system for the rapid detection of the potato the most pathogenic viruses»under the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation, 2009-2010;
- Supervisor of the research project: «Development of a rapid test for the diagnosis of potato virus diseases» within the grant funding for the budget program 055 «Scientific and scientific-technical activity», Ministry of science and education of Kazakhstan, 2012-2014;
- Project supervisor: "The creation of bank of domestic potatoes strains for the production of highly sensitive diagnostic tests", 217 Budget program "Development of science" Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2017;
- Project supervisor: “Transfer of foreign potato varieties for virus-free seed production in Northern and Central Kazakhstan”, within the framework of a cofinancing agreement between NJSC “KATIU named after. S. Seifullin" and "Potato Group Company LTD", PCF of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2018-2020;
- Supervisor of the international scientific program 3M/23 “Creation of promising potato lines based on genetic resources of the PRC and the Republic of Kazakhstan” within the framework of the contract between NJSC “KATIU named after. S. Seifullin" and "Potato Group Company LTD" (PRC), 2019-2023;
- Project manager “Development of technology for the effective use of extracts and spent fungal substrates as a means of protecting potatoes from phytopathogens with the production of feed additives”, Budget program 217 “Development of science”, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2022-2024.
