In 2000, on April 7, he successfully defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Ecology of the river beaver (Castor fiber L, 1756) in Western Kazakhstan and its national economic significance".

Achievements in science:

2004 Winner of the nomination in the study of living organisms of the International Biographical Center at the University of Cambridge (England)

in 2006. Winner of the state grant "Best University Teacher 2006" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2007, he was awarded the badge "KR-nyn bilim beru isinin kurmetti kyzmetkeri" by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2023, he was awarded the badge "Ecology of salasyn uzdigi" by the MEiOS of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2008 Participant and prize-winner of the Republican forum "Teacher navatr". With the award of a tourist voucher to Turkey (Antalya)

2014 A member of the Shokan Zholdarymen expedition of the People's Republic of China (Kashkaria). Member of the Geographical Society of Kazakhstan.
