1997-2008 studied at the Kazakh school of gymnasium named after. Zh.Zhabaeva No. 4, in Nur-Sultan.
2008-2012 entered S. Seifullin KazATU as a heat power engineer, and graduated with honors, with the qualification of a heat power engineer.
2012-2014 Studied under a targeted grant at the Kazakh National University in Almaty, graduated with the award of the academic degree of Master of Technical Sciences

Карьера. 1979 г. — Кайрат Айтуганов начал работать оператором цеха перевозки Кокчетавского почтамта. 1984-1985 гг. — ассистент кафедры почвоведения Целиноградского сельхозинститута. 1987-1989 гг. — агроном, старший агроном, главный экономист совхоза Карабулакский Зерендинского р-йона Кокчетавской обл.
