On August 14, 2024, the grand opening of the "Oil eco" enterprise for the regeneration of vegetable oils took place, which is being launched as part of the commercialization of research results under the project "Organization of production for the regeneration and purification of vegetable oils".
This project is the result of the integration of science and business. A group of scientists from Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, headed by Zh. Satayeva, developed technologies for the purification of waste cooking oils and fats using domestic zeolite deposits at the request of "IP Suleimenov", as a result of which they received feed and technical oil.
Bringing high-quality, cheaper oils to the market using innovative environmentally friendly processing methods will solve the problems of feed production, the construction sector, paint and varnish factories, soap production, as well as environmental problems of waste disposal by regenerating vegetable oils. The event was attended by the Director of the Department of Commercialization of the Science Foundation Serik Mazhikenov, the project manager of the Science Foundation Aidar Kadirbek, the leading manager of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Serikzhan Amirzhanuly, representatives of the consulting company "NC-Consulting" and other guests.
