Water management training in the Netherlands

On July 9, 2024, a two-week training on water resources management and water diplomacy began at the Institute of Water Education, Delft, the Netherlands, organized within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project " Strengthening Higher Education in the Water Sector for Climate Resilience and Security in Central Asia", where S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University is a participant. Kazangapova N.B., associate professor, and Kurmangozhinov A.Zh., senior lecturer of Forest Resources and Forestry Department are taking part in the training and participants of partner universities in Central Asia.

The purpose of the training is: to train participants from Central Asian countries; and introduce of the course into the educational process, which contributes to the training of future specialists-water diplomats; development of international cooperation.

About 24 representatives of partner universities take part in the training: K. Dikhambaev Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, K.I. Scryabin Kyrgyz National Agrarian University; Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, M.H. Dulati Taraz Regional University; Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sh. Shokhtemur Tajik Agrarian University; Turkmen Agricultural Institute, Turkmen State University; University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Mechanization of Agricultural Engineers.

         The training lecturers are professors from the Institute of Water Education, the Netherlands.
