From June 26 to June 27, 2024, the delegation of Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University headed by the Rector, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Tireuov took part in the international conference “Integration of Education, Science and Innovation”, organized by Xinjiang Agricultural University in Urumqi, China. The conference was attended by the leadership of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China and the heads of agricultural universities in Central Asian countries.
During the conference, meetings were held with the President, Mr. Jiang Pinan, and the teaching staff of Xinjiang Agrarian University, during which mechanisms for implementing cooperation on educational programs of double diplomas, academic mobility, joint preparation and implementation of scientific projects, the development of cultural exchange, and the study of Kazakh were discussed. and Chinese languages.
As a result of the visit to the Xinjiang Agrarian University, a Cooperation Agreement was signed, within the framework of which the above-mentioned activities will be implemented. An agreement was reached between the universities to actively develop mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
